By bringing a CRM directly into Carta's ERP for private capital, funds can manage deal flow, LP relationships, and advisor networks on a single, AI-enabled platform.

Today,  we’re adding a CRM to Carta’s ERP for private capital through our acquisition of ListAlpha. We couldn’t be more excited to bring Ihar, the rest of the ListAlpha team, and their customers into the Carta ecosystem.

With Carta’s CRM, funds can manage deal flow, LP relationships, and advisor networks, all on a single, AI-enabled platform. And, it’s connected directly into the Carta ERP, which links data and workflows across deal flow, portfolio management, core accounting, and LP management.

Last year, I wrote about the structural shift we were making as a company to build a vertical ERP for private markets. In that post, I posited that Carta was building the Netsuite for private markets. And while we had many of the core accounting and data stores built out when I made that post, one key thing we were missing was a CRM.

Today, private capital firms manage their CRM separately from their fund accounting and operations platforms, leaving data and workflows disconnected across the multiple disparate systems.

The deals you’re tracking, the LPs you’re building relationships with, and the bankers you’re working on deals with all live in your CRM. Yet, the data on the deals you’ve done and the LPs you have live in Carta, or your fund accounting platform.

We are connecting this data for the first time.

Now, when you’re visiting an LP about a new fundraise, you don’t have to ask your IR team about the questions they asked during your last meeting and your CFO for how much they’ve invested across your different vehicles. And when you’re running your Monday morning partner meetings, you don’t have  to pull pipeline and portfolio metrics from different places.

Economic and relationship data,  pipeline, and portfolio data. All of it now lives in one place, on Carta.
