Do I need to be on the Carta platform to access this product?

Yes, KYC is sold as an add-on to the Fund Administration solution, so you will need to be onboarded to the Carta platform to access this product.

Does Carta support KYC for funds outside the US?

Yes. Carta supports KYC requirements in the United States (US), United Kingdom (UK), Australia, the Cayman Islands, Singapore, the British Virgin Islands (BVI), Jersey and Luxembourg.

Is KYC available outside of fund closing?

Yes. Carta has a KYC standalone product for GPs to initiate LP screening via the KYC dashboard. Initial review, continuous monitoring for watchlist hits, and periodic reviews are all supported in the product.

What services and support are included with KYC?
