Move beyond manual cash rec and SOI maintenance with Carta’s new automations, which give your team an extra line of defense against errors.

Automating routine tasks

As part of Carta’s mission to transform fund administration with AI, we’ve built agentic experiences into two historically manual and laborious tasks: reconciling cash and tagging investments on the Schedule of Investments (SOI).

By deploying advanced automation and proprietary AI agents built on Carta’s market expertise, we’re enabling the fund admin platform to act as an extension of your team, blocking and tackling issues before they reach your desk.

Real-time data integrity for financial and audit readiness

For the SOI, each investment is now automatically tagged with country and industry, supporting year-end readiness and the preparation of timely audited financial statements.

With cash rec, the agents reconcile transactions in accounting journals, so you have a more accurate view of your cash position and financials at any given time.

Proactive problem solving

The underlying mechanism is a framework we’ve called Continuous Monitoring. It works 24/7 to detect, resolve, and escalate issues the moment they arise, minimizing the need for user intervention.

These developments help bring an end to operational blind spots and stagnant data with real-time quality control, giving your fund the foundational precision needed to run a same-day capital call or generate Day 1 financial reports.
