Take control of your investor communications on Carta by assigning the new Investor Relations role to the right team members.

As your company grows, managing investor communications becomes increasingly important—and more complex. Investors expect timely, accurate updates and responses to requests like RFIs or audit confirmations.

Eliminate confusion on investor relations responsibility

Found under the users and permissions company settings, we’ve created a new Investor Relations contact role for users handling investor-related tasks such as responding to RFIs, completing audit confirmations, sending updates, and receiving alerts when investors engage. With this role, your team stays organized, professional, and accountable, while your investors get faster, reliable, and more consistent responses.

Keep your investors advised on who to contact

Investors will see who their point of contact is while still being able to include their preferred contacts if needed. This eliminates ambiguity about who’s responsible on your team. If investors attempt to assign an external contact, someone with Full Access or Company Editor permissions will be notified to review and manage the request.

Note: All users with full access and editor access have default access to Investor Relations features.
