Do I need to be on the Carta platform to access this product?

What audit support is offered with SPVs?
Audit support is available as an add-on service that helps you complete audit notes and financial statements directly on the platform.
Carta will also provide your auditor with books, records, and any necessary supporting documentation. You can view a sample of the audited financial reporting package here.
How does Carta Closings work?
Prospective LPs log in or create a Carta account to sign subscription documents, complete KYC/AML and complete the closing process. GPs are notified to countersign and can send the first capital call automatically.
What tax services and support are offered with SPVs?
Carta offers SPV tax preparation as a service, including Form 1065 returns, Schedule K-1s, state filings and local tax compliance in Europe. Learn more about fund tax here.
