Carta’s Investments Dashboard continues to get better with added support for PE- and VC-backed LLC companies.

Many PE firms have diversified strategies covering both startups and more established LLCs. And as your portfolio continues to grow across your fund and across your firm, you need a way to find and analyze this information in one central location.

Centralize and consolidate investment information across your firm

Investment firms can now directly accept Carta LLC-issued interests into their existing or new investment firm portfolios, and see them listed on the Investments Dashboard. For Carta Fund Administration customers, you can now link Carta LLC holdings to the relevant information from your GL, helping portfolio managers see a consolidated set of data across the cap table and fund investment details. These updates provide investors of both LLCs and C-corporations a complete yet simplified view of all their holdings on Carta. This integrated approach to managing LLC holdings alongside C-Corp holdings simplifies auditing, streamlines portfolio management, and allows for more accurate performance assessments—overall reducing operational risk.

Additionally, the Investments Dashboard can now display investments grouped by fund. It not only helps you visually organize a large portfolio better, but also leverages existing permissions to control user access at the fund level. This allows you to better safeguard important information and maintain compliance.

Standardize holdings details across C-Corps and LLCs

It’s not just auditability. The dashboard also unlocks a uniformed view of your portfolio that contains key information about holdings such as unreturned invested capital, issue price, estimated value, and more, regardless if it's a C-Corp or LLC. This flow of information is automatically synced directly from your portfolio companies, reducing the need for manual requests for information and potential errors and inaccuracies caused by manual data entry.
