Ask Claude or your favorite AI Agent what's on your cap table and get an answer in seconds. The Carta Cap Table Plugin connects Claude to your live Carta data, so you can do cap table work the way you run a web search.

Behind these prompts, the plugin covers ownership, share classes, round history, 409A valuations, SAFEs, convertible notes, vesting, RSUs and other grant types, conversion math, and exit waterfalls. In Claude Cowork it draws your ownership as an interactive chart. CFOs use it before board meetings. Outside counsel use it to assemble closing exhibits without the paralegal hours.
The plugin is read-only today. Option issuance and other write actions are coming next.
Why it matters
You don't ask cap table questions on your schedule. You ask them five minutes before a board call, the night before a financing closes, the morning your auditor lands. The answer is in Carta. Finding it used to be hard and slow.
The plugin closes that gap. Ask in plain English, get a grounded answer from your live cap table. No triangulating between Carta, Excel, and your banker's model to confirm the same number three ways.
We tuned it hardest on the cap tables that hurt most. On a real company with 1,400 grants, a query that took 27 seconds now returns in 1.2. Financing history dropped from eight seconds to under a tenth of a second. Speed matters when the lead investor is calling in 10 minutes.
How to use
Install from the Claude plugin marketplace and sign in with your existing Carta account. Setup takes about two minutes. You can also connect your AI Agent to the included MCP (Model Context Protocol) server directly.
When you start a new session, Claude greets you with the entities you have access to and suggests next steps. Ask any cap table question from there, or run the built-in tutorial for a guided tour.
